It's almost Christmas! 'Tis the season to be crafty!
This is a cheap and simple way to spruce up your home for Christmas! A simple Christmas bauble bowl can be used as a table centre piece to light up your home. Originally we planned for a Christmas pinecone bowl with twinkly lights but since it's Summer here in Australia, we couldn't find any pinecones along our local beach! Either way, it was so easy to set up and looked just as Christmas-sy with the baubles.
Here's what we used:
- IKEA Trygg Serving Bowl - AU$2.49
- BIG W Set of 6 Silver Baubles - AU$3.00
- BIW W Set of 7 Gold Baubles - AU$3.00
- BIG W Battery Operated LED lights - AU$1.50
- 2 AA Batteries - AU$1.99

DIY Makeup Clipboard Brush Cleaner - Sigma Spa Glove Dupe!
Tuesday, December 09, 2014Unknown
Cleaning your makeup brushes doesn't have to be a chore. You've probably seen the Sigma Spa Brush Cleaning Glove all over beauty blogs and beauty YouTube videos.. but for us who don't want to spend US$39.00 on a textured silicone glove for cleaning our makeup brushes, this is an EASY and CHEAP way to do it!
The photos are pretty self explanatory. For this, all you need is a clipboard and a hot glue gun! Glue-on your own designs to create a bumpy surface. This will give your brushes a deep clean and also cut your brush-cleaning-time down.
Enjoy!
Learn to make this easy and simple Christmas burlap wreath with no glue, tape or ties required!
- Polystyrene circle
- Pack of red bows
- Two thick burlap-style ribbons
- Sequin/Bead pins
- Scissors
The photos are pretty self-explanatory and you don't have to go with the colour scheme or style we used here. All of the supplies were from Spotlight (in Australia) but you can find many alternatives from a $2 shop or any craft store.
Good luck! ♡
